Oppo A-Series Smartphone With iPhone 12-Like Camera Module LEAKED

Oppo A-Series: Oppo is reported to be developing a new A-series smartphone. A report revealed leaked photos of the alleged handset. The images demonstrate the camera module’s design as well as the location of various keys and slots. The camera module appears to be comparable to an older iPhone model.

According to the report, the speculated Oppo phone has been detected on multiple certification sites. The postings indicate some of its camera specifications and an impending India launch.

  • The money photo shows its back camera island looking similar to those found on contemporary iPhones, particularly the iPhone 12. Its two cameras are vertically positioned, with a torch module directly next to them.
  • The bottom side features a 3.5mm headphone connector, a microphone slit, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille.
  • On the right side, we can find the power button and the volume rocker. We’re also told the phone would have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, implying that it will be a low-cost handset with an LCD panel rather than an AMOLED one.
  • The sides are flat, with chamfered edges.
  • On the front, our source claims a 120Hz full HD+ display with a centred punch-hole cutout.

According to leaked pictures released by 91Mobiles, a next Oppo A-series smartphone would most likely have a rear camera module comparable to the iPhone 12. The two camera units are vertically grouped within a slightly elevated, squarish camera island located in the upper left corner of the back panel. An LED unit is next to the camera sensors. The speculated Oppo handset comes in blue.

The right and bottom edges of the rumoured Oppo A-series handset have also surfaced. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right edge, while the bottom edge contains a USB Type-C port, a microphone, a 3.5mm audio socket, and a speaker grille. The smartphone is also expected to have a flat display with chamfered edges and a central hole-punch slot at the top for the front camera sensor.

According to the aforementioned rumour, the anticipated Oppo A-series phone would feature a full-HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset is said to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

According to the report, an Oppo smartphone with model number CPH2681 was found on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This device is supposed to be the reported Oppo A-series phone. The BIS listing signals that the model will be launched in India soon.

The source also mentioned that a future Oppo smartphone with the model number CPH2681 was discovered on the Camera FV-5 website. This listing does not specify the phone’s camera sensor sizes, however it does indicate that the main back camera will have a 27.4mm focal length, f/2.0 aperture, and electronic image stabilisation (EIS) capability. Meanwhile, the front camera will support EIS, have a 27.7mm focal length, and an aperture of f/2.2.
