Oppo Reno 12F: Oppo has launched the Reno 12F 5G, a near relative of the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro. The new Reno 12 series phone comes in two colour options and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It includes numerous AI capabilities such as AI Recording Summary, AI Text Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak. Other significant features of the Oppo Reno 12F 5G include a 5,000mAh battery, 45W charging capabilities, and an IP64-rated design.
The Oppo Reno 12F 5G’s price and availability details have yet to be released by the Chinese technology firm. Oppo’s global website presently lists Amber Orange and Olive Green as colour options.
What’s new about the Reno 12F?
The OPPO Reno 12F features a same display size of 6.67 inches and the same AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Dimensity 7050 is being replaced by the Dimensity 6300 chipset. However, performance should be identical. On paper, they both perform similarly; the rest is up to optimising. The camera arrangement remains the same, with 64MP + 8MP + 2MP on the rear and a 32MP shooter on the front.
The battery capacity remains the same at 5,000mAh, but the charging speed is lowered from 67W to 45W. The OPPO Reno 12F excels with its AI features.

The Oppo Reno 12F 5G features a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation), an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the phone has a 32-megapixel camera. Like the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro, this model includes AI-based camera capabilities such as AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, and AI Clear Face. The handset is IP64-rated.
The Oppo Reno 12F 5G has a 5,000mAh battery and 45W charging capabilities. The quick charging adapter is touted to charge the battery from 0% to 100% in 71 minutes. Ten minutes of charging is said to provide up to 6.2 hours of talk time and 5.05 hours of video playback time.
