The Moto G85 5G will be available in India next week, the company stated in a social media post on Wednesday. The smartphone debuted in Europe on June 26 as a rebranded version of the Motorola S50 Neo, which was released in China alongside the Motorola Razr 50 series. A microsite for the handset has launched on Flipkart ahead of its debut in India, revealing the majority of the upcoming Moto G85 5G’s features, including display, CPU, and battery.
The Moto G85 India launch date has been officially announced. This smartphone was released globally just last week. It’s the global version of the Moto S50 Neo, which was released in China. The Moto G85 has a pOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, a 50MP primary camera, and a 32MP front camera.

The Moto G85 5G will include a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and max brightness of 1,600 nits. The display is said to have Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
In terms of size, the Moto G85 5G weighs 175g and is 7.59mm thick. It will be available in three vegan leather colorways: cobalt blue, olive green, and urban grey.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also be offered in an 8GB+128GB storage configuration. The device is said to include a RAM Boost function and run Android 14, with two years of guaranteed OS upgrades and three years of security patches.

Motorola says it will have software features like as Smart Connect, Family Space, and Moto Secure. In addition, the handset will feature an IP52 grade for dust and water protection.
The Moto G85 5G is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. It is touted to offer up to 90 hours of music playing, 38 hours of talk time, and 22 hours of video playback.
